The Charter Collection is designed and produced in Eugene, Oregon, where we draw on the skills of talented carvers, artists, and wildlife biologists from the Pacific Northwest. Each model is intricately carved and painted to appear alert and lifelike. All of the Charter Collection models are made from kiln-dried Sugar Pine grown in the Pacific Northwest, and are painted using semi-transparent stains that emphasize the wood grain. No two carvings are alike, and each is signed by the artist. The Taber Collection was designed by Tom Taber, a world-traveled sportsman who began producing wildlife woodcarvings decades ago. Tens of thousands of his carvings have been purchased since then, and we are very excited to offer these products. The Taber Collection is produced in our Eugene, Oregon facility, where our staff has years of experience making these beautiful sculptures. Each is made from beautiful Alder hardwood, with a unique staining treatment that brings out the warmth and glow of the wood.
