Also Known As: Roboduck
Type of Duck: Fighting
Habits: These ducks graze on Wildcats, Trojans,
Bruins, Sun Devils, Cougars and Bears, and are especially
ferocious around Beavers and Huskies. They are very sociable
and gather in large flocks around Autzen Stadium, MacArthur
Court, and Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. During the
winter months, they are known to migrate to warm weather
locations to catch glimpses of sunshine.
Voice: These ducks are very vocal. Both drakes
and hens are known for making obnoxious quacking noises
wherever they go. Unlike the dabbling mallard, The Oregon
Mallard males tend to be much more vocal and can get out
of control if threatened or harassed.
Range: Found predominantly in the Pacific Northwest, but can be found scattered throughout the U.S.
